For Pilates teachers and studio owners
Whether you are getting ready to open your first studio or already run one, this is about building a business you can stand behind: where clients feel they belong, the teachers who work for you feel supported, and the thing still looks after you at the end of the month.

The bit nobody warns you about
Almost no one opens a Pilates studio because they wanted to run a business. They open one because they love teaching, and then discover that loving teaching and running the place are two different jobs — and that the second one quietly eats the first.
Most studio owners I talk to are not short of ideas. They are short of a way to decide between them.
Why I wrote Pilates & Purpose
Because a studio can be run from the heart and still be a real business, and too few people are shown how. The book is about the two things that decide whether that works: looking after the teachers who work for you, and treating clients as the people the business exists to serve rather than as bookings to fill.
It sets out the five pillars of a purpose-driven studio. Coaching is where you apply them to your studio, your team and your community.
What changes
- You know what the studio is for. Which makes hiring, pricing and saying no to things much less agonising.
- Your teachers stay. Supported teachers are the whole business, and they are the cheapest thing to lose and the most expensive to replace.
- Clients belong somewhere. Retention stops being a tactic and starts being a consequence.
- The numbers stop being frightening. Knowing what has to be true for the studio to work, and checking it, rather than hoping.
- You get some of the teaching back. Which is what you came for.
How it works
- A free 20-minute conversation. Where the studio is, what you want from it, and whether I am the right person. If I am not, I will say so.
- Four one-hour sessions on Zoom. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly, so there is time to change something in between.
- Notes after every session. What we discussed, what you decided, what you are trying next.
- Support in between. If it is more than a fortnight, I check in.
Prices
- Four one-hour sessions: A$760 (A$190 a session). This is where most people start.
- Single session, 60 minutes: A$220
- Single session, 90 minutes: A$320
- First conversation: a free 20-minute call
All sessions are online, on Zoom. Prices are in Australian dollars.
[Booking for the four-session pack will appear here once Acuity is set up.]
What people say
I learned how to appreciate the discipline of the Pilates method being a process and something to be attained over time and with practice. This enabled me to show compassion toward people I teach so they could find love for their bodies and appreciate what they are able to do. It applies equally to my business. Tania helped me link my teaching and business values for consistency and continued growth.

Tania's coaching transformed how I manage my studio and connect with my clients.
